TAUSAT-3
This 2U CubeSat was launched on the Falcon 9 rocket lifted off on January 3rd, 2023, from the Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Florida and was released to space by the D-Orbit ION SCV008 satellite Carrier a few days later. It included two unique experiments as well as a proof of concept test for a novel battery pack developed by Epsilor-Electric Fuel Ltd. The satellite carried a science payload of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) aimed to conduct a scientific experiment in optical tracking of miniature objects in space. In addition, the satellite included an S-band transmitter aimed at demonstrating a novel communication protocol, suggested by TAU, in various signal-to-noise regimes.
