Dr. Dolev Bashi
Chief Systems Engineer
About Dolev
Dolev is a satellite systems engineer with 15+ years of experience in end-to-end mission practice, encompassing concept design, integration testing, launch logistics, and commissioning in space.
Dolve holds a Ph.D. in planetary science and astrophysics, a background that quietly guides my approach to complex mission challenges.
His work focuses on spacecraft systems engineering, satellite orbital mechanics, Bayesian statistics, and remote sensing, as well as the impact of the space environment and space weather on mission design.
Previous missions (systems-engineering roles)
- TEVEL-2 – Chief system engineer & integrator; mentored nine high-school teams; flew a dedicated cosmic-ray/radiation sensor payload
- TAUSAT-2 – Chief system engineer & integrator of a 2 U CubeSat demonstrating a novel optical-LED communications link
- TAU COTS-Capsule – Integrator for a radiation-payload experiment flown to the ISS
- TEVEL-1 – Mentor for eight high-school teams developing 1 U CubeSats with retro-reflector payloads
- TAUSAT-1 – System engineer & integrator of TAU’s first 3 U CubeSat carrying radiation and space-weather instruments
