About Pavel

Experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in multidisciplinary systems development. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering at Tel Aviv University, with a thesis titled “Lunar Navigation System Based on a Nano-Satellite Constellation.”

The thesis focuses on the research and development of an optimal constellation of nanosatellites to enable an independent lunar navigation system, free from reliance on Earth's GNSS. The system is designed to provide positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) updates for both astronaut-led and robotic missions on the Moon’s surface.

The research objectives include determining optimal orbital configurations, constellation deployment strategies, communication architectures, and onboard atomic clock management. Methodologies involve simulating orbital dynamics and communication scenarios using tools such as NASA’s General Mission Analysis Tool (GMAT), in combination with optimization algorithms.
